The Dallas Zoo River renovation included a complete overhaul of the equipment that powers the half million gallon zoo river. One of the challenges was the filtration. Sunbelt installed a four filter system with fully automatic backwash to handle the heavy load from the animals and the foliage.

Sunbelt Scope of Work:

• Pool piping and mechanical
• Nemato National High Rate Sand filters with fully automatic backwash
• BECSsys Bachwash controllers
• Pulsar 4 Chlorination system
• Pumps from ITT Marlow – 50 HP feature pumps
