The equipment at the world class University of Texas Swim Center was 30 years old and in poor condition with multiple ruptures over the last several years. The old DE filters did not function properly and the turnover rate was very poor. The original contract was to renovate the equipment room with new pumps, filters and piping. During the project it was discovered that all of the underground piping to the main drains of both pools was leaking and corroded, so a major change order had to be undertaken - and completed in the short 6 week time table for this project.

  • Installation of new Nemato High Rate Sand Filters
