The City of Arlington wanted to build a new pool that was unique. The design team included the City of Arlington Parks staff, Brinkley Sargent Architects, Mesa Design, and Counsilman-Hunsaker. The result is a park that is unique in many ways with its rustic design, unusual “pipe farm” children’s play area, and sprayground. The pool opened in May of 2006 and has been an overwhelming success with full capacity crowds and people waiting to get in and join the fun.
