Even heroes need a little help sometimes. Funded by the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund for Wounded Servicemen, these pools were designed and built with healing and recovery in mind. The goal and mission of the Center for the Intrepid is to offer rehabilitation services to military personnel who are amputees, burn victims, or are suffering from functional limb loss.
The state-of-the-art facility features both a therapy pool and FlowRider® pool that assists with core strength training and recuperating balance, and provides low-impact exercise.
